Dear friends and colleagues,
We would like to thank you for your interest in the 25th Biennial Congress of the International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL), and we sincerely hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and sound.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the call for papers for IRSCL2021 has been rescheduled for late June 2020. Although venue dates and research tracks for the congress have remained untouched, our team is devising congress modalities that allow for both on-site and online panels. In the midst of this challenging situation, we are doing our best to make IRSCL2021 as safe, inclusive and mindful of our environmental impact as possible. More information about further changes will be posted continuously on the congress site, and those who have signed up for updates will be notified of any modifications via email.
The congress theme is “Aesthetic and Pedagogic Entanglements”. See Call for Papers for further information.
Universidad Católica’s Campus Oriente Conference Center has been recently remodeled. It is located at the Providencia-Ñuñoa area in Santiago, at walking distance (10-15 minutes) from Metro Station “Chile-España” (on Line 3) with a number of hotel facilities, restaurants, and shopping centers situated nearby and excellent connectivity. See Practical info for further information.
IRSCL Congress 2021 will be hosted by the Center for Educational Justice (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile), in Santiago.
